| November 2007 At a Pingo Doce supermarket in Madeira Finding nata - full-fat heavy cream (not half-and-half, not light cream, not non-dairy creamer) if it kills me! I bought the two Portuguese brands I'm holding here and was later very pleased by their taste and texture. If you take the time to whip these, they taste extremely sweet! Great for coffee. I even brought many boxes back home and am still enjoying them! |

| January 2010 - At the Sphinx in Egypt These really sweet Thai ladies stopped me presenting their camera, & I thought they wanted me to take their photo. Turns out they wanted me in it! There were Westerners everywhere that day, so I feel privileged they for whatever reason chose me. As we parted, I remembered to give the Wai. :) |
